Talk with your health care provider before starting any of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aspirin<\/li>\n<li>Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, like ibuprofen (Motrin\u00ae or Advil\u00ae) and naproxen (Aleve\u00ae or Naprosyn\u00ae)<\/li>\n<li>Beta-blockers, which are usually used for heart conditions, high blood pressure and migraines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For example: (brand name, generic name):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Corgard\u00ae, nadolol<\/li>\n<li>Inderal\u00ae, propanolol hydrochloride<\/li>\n<li>Normodyne, labetalol<\/li>\n<li>Visken\u00ae, pindolol<\/li>\n<li>Trandate\u00ae, labetalol hydrochloride<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>ACE inhibitors, which are used for heart disease and high blood pressure, can cause a cough which could be mistaken for an asthma symptom.<\/p>\n<p>For example: (brand name, generic name):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accupril\u00ae, quinapril<\/li>\n<li>Aceon\u00ae, perindopril<\/li>\n<li>Altace\u00ae, ramipril<\/li>\n<li>Capoten\u00ae, captopril<\/li>\n<li>Lotensin\u00ae, benazepril<\/li>\n<li>Mavik\u00ae, trandolapril<\/li>\n<li>Monopril\u00ae, fosinapril<\/li>\n<li>Prinivil\u00ae, lisinopril<\/li>\n<li>Univasc\u00ae, moexipril<\/li>\n<li>Vasotec\u00ae, enalapril<\/li>\n<li>Zestril\u00ae, lisinopril<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Never stop a medicine before talking with your health care provider.
